(bigleaguepolitics)Donald Trump is slated to speak on the last day of CPAC, reappearing publicly for the first time since leaving the presidency.
Then-celebrity businessman and Apprentice star Trump began speaking at CPAC in 2011, continuing to address the yearly event as President. He only missed the event in 2016 while securing the Republican nomination as a candidate.
Trump called into conservative news channels following the death of radio legend Rush Limbaugh to memorialize the conservative host. The CPAC event will be his first public speech since leaving office.
It’s expected that President Trump will discuss his plans post-presidency, outlining a mission to replace establishment Republicans with MAGA-certified primary challengers before the 2022 midterm election. Trump will also outline plans for conservatives and America First proponents to speak freely on the internet, months after the 45th President himself was thrown off of Twitter following a raucous protest in Washington DC. Trump is currently considering proposals to build alternative social media platforms, and establishing a presence on a free speech social media network could ultimately spell the death knell for Big Tech.
President Trump is also expected to speak on Joe Biden’s swift move to adopt an immigration policy of open borders, overturning and reversing many of Trump’s signature border security, enforcement and ‘big, beautiful wall’ policies.
Trump will speak on Sunday, February 28th, the last day of the conference. CPAC is being held in Orlando, Florida this year, with organizers finally moving to liberate the yearly conference from the toxic Washington DC swamp.
