7 ways Biden wants to make America more like California

(NOQReport) – Share the truth Dr. Marilyn Singleton of Redondo Beach, California, says she plans to stick around her home state despite seeing so many others leave amid what she considers a tough climate for business, including fellow medical doctors.

Article by Fred Lucas from Daily Signal .

“It would be terrible for California-or as they call it here, Taxifornia-went national,” Singleton told The Daily Signal. “You have the same group of people paying for everything.”

California is losing a congressional seat, according to new data from the U.S. Census Bureau. Although still the largest state in the union, it has been losing employers to other states such as Texas and Florida.

“They are never going to drive me out,” Singleton said in a phone interview. “California has things that other states do not have. The geography is unparalleled. You can drive an hour and a half and go from the sunny beaches to skiing in the mountains.”

Despite the state’s economic and population problems, President Joe Biden used his address to a joint session of Congress to propose policies similar to those enacted in California. Among them: a law to ban “gig” or freelance workers, a hike in the federal minimum wage, measures to curb climate change, and promises of “free” pre-K and college.

In the neighboring state of Arizona, Carlos Ruiz, founder of HT Metals in Tucson, has seen how his state has benefited from businesses that have fled California.

“With the licensing and regulation laws, I don’t think I could have started my business in California,” Ruiz told The Daily Signal. “Arizona has always been a great place to start a business. If you eliminate competition among the states for business and make everyone like California, it’s going to stifle business creation. It creates a barrier to entry and stifles growth.”

Neither the White House nor the office of California Gov. Gavin Newsom responded to requests for comment.

Here are seven key areas where Biden’s agenda largely would mirror policies enacted in California.

1. American Families Plan

Newsom, a Democrat, took notice of Biden’s “American Families Plan.”

“Right here in California, our stimulus programs have provided tax relief for small businesses and money in pockets for struggling families, and we’ve expanded child care and made community college free,” Newsom said Wednesday in a public statement. “These strategic investments, which are complemented by President Biden’s American Families Plan, will bolster California’s equitable economic recovery and bring us roaring back.”

California, which already had covered the cost of one year of community college, expanded that to two years in 2019.

During his remarks to a joint session of Congress, Biden touted similar proposals.

“My American Families Plan guarantees four additional years of public education for every person in America, starting as early as we can,” Biden said.

“The research shows when a young child goes to school-not day care-they are far more likely to graduate from high school and go to college or something after high school. When you add two years of free community college on top of that, you begin to change the dynamic.”

2. PRO Act

During his remarks to Congress, Biden asked the lawmakers “to pass the Protect the Right to Organize Act-the PRO Act-and send it to my desk so we can support the right to unionize.”

The legislation dubbed the PRO Act essentially would take a California law known as AB 5 national. However, the California measure wasn’t very popular after the Legislature passed it and the governor signed it into law.

Previously, drivers for ride-hailing services such as Uber and Lyft; freelance writers, musicians, and others, and various independent contractors could work for companies without being considered full-time or part-time employees.

The new law required workers in California to be considered employees, narrowing opportunities for workers that wanted to set their own hours.

In November, voters opted to significantly weaken the law, though not discard it entirely, by passing a ballot question called Prop 22 after the law was seen as harming opportunities for freelancers and independent contractors.

The ballot initiative carved out Uber and Lyft drivers, but the law still affects most other part-time or freelance workers in California.

“If a policy is too liberal for California voters, you would think it’s definitely not something for the rest of the country,” Alfredo Ortiz, president of the Job Creators Network, a small business advocacy group, told The Daily Signal.

“That law has had a horrible impact on freelancers and independent contractors,” Ortiz said. “Even people in the movie industry that used to get contract jobs are losing opportunities. If you are a sole proprietor, you are a small business.”

The PRO Act touted by Biden would prohibit contract or freelance work. Organized labor strongly backs the legislation as a means of increasing union membership.

The Freelancers Union estimates that 1 in 3 workers in the United States participates in independent work such as contracting, freelancing, and consulting. About 10% of workers perform independent work as their primary job.

Fewer than 1 in 10 independent contractors would prefer a traditional work arrangement, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Specifically, the federal legislation would broaden the definition of “employee” under the National Labor Relations Act. Under the new definition, an individual who performs any service-with some exceptions-would be an employee rather than an independent contractor.

The proposal also raises concerns about invading workers’ privacy, doing away with the right to secret ballots in union elections, and invalidating 27 state right-to-work laws against compulsory union membership.

“California has been a policy disaster, yet President Biden seems to view it as a success,” Ortiz said.

3. $15 Minimum Wage

An increase in the federal minimum wage would have real consequences for employers, said Ruiz, who currently has five full-time employees.

“Amazon can pay high wages, but not every business is scaled to Amazon,” Ruiz said in a phone interview.

In 2016, California became the first state to adopt a $15 minimum wage statewide. The full wage doesn’t take effect until next year.

“While you’re thinking about sending things to my desk, let’s raise the minimum wage to $15,” Biden told Congress. “No one … working 40 hours a week should live below the poverty line.”

The current federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour, meaning an employer cannot pay an employee less than that. More than half the states, 29, impose a higher minimum wage than the federal one, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

A 2019 study by the University of California, Riverside predicted problems for full-service restaurants and the industry’s employees.

“The model suggests that there would be 30,000 fewer jobs in the industry from 2017 to 2022 as a result of the higher minimum wage,” the study says. “Over the period 2013-2022, therefore, the number of new jobs in the full-service industry will grow by 120,000, but would have grown by 160,000.”

The Congressional Budget Office estimated in 2019 that raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour nationally would result in up to 3.7 million Americans losing their jobs:

According to CBO’s median estimate, under the $15 option, 1.3 million workers who would otherwise be employed would be jobless in an average week in 2025. (That would equal a 0.8 percent reduction in the number of employed workers). CBO estimates that there is about a two-thirds chance that the change in employment would lie between about zero and a reduction of 3.7 million workers.

4. Climate Change

During his remarks to Congress, Biden also talked about green jobs as a domestic policy while also working with other countries to curb emissions as part of his foreign policy.

“For too long, we’ve failed to use the most important word when it comes to meeting the climate crisis: jobs, jobs, jobs,” Biden said. “For me, when I think climate change, I think jobs.”

Last year, Newsom signed an executive order to ban the sale of new gas-powered cars in California by 2035. Several municipalities there also enacted bans on natural gas-powered products such as grills and even home-heating systems. That would mean, in theory, zero carbon dioxide emissions from cars and trucks.

During his virtual climate summit April 22 and 23, Biden said the United States has a ” moral imperative ” to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 50% from 2005 levels by 2030 and by 100% as of 2050.

5. Health Care and ‘Public Option’

During his campaign for president, Biden talked about a government-run health insurance entity that would compete with private markets. The president didn’t raise the point during his remarks to Congress, however.

Newsom has boasted that California has such a so-called public option, though the assertion is questionable.

Biden used a government option to rebut other Democratic primary candidates who called for a “Medicare for All” plan.

Biden did talk about expanding Obamacare, officially known as the Affordable Care Act, in his remarks to Congress.

“The Affordable Care Act has been a lifeline for millions of Americans, protecting people with preexisting conditions, protecting women’s health,” Biden said. “And the pandemic has demonstrated how badly, how badly it’s needed. Let’s lower deductibles for working families … in the Affordable Care Act.”

During the Democratic primary debate, Newsom said his state already has a public option in its version of the Obamacare insurance exchange.

“We have a public option, just so folks know,” Newsom said in January 2020 while announcing the state budget proposal. “It’s called Covered California.”

California Healthline, a publication that covers the state’s health care industry, challenged this assessment. It contended that Covered California is a collection of competing private companies on the exchange.

Peter Lee, executive director of California Covered, wrote an article defending the “public option” characterization by the governor.

“Among those plans are statewide [insurance] carriers that are both nonprofit and for-profit; we have public plans such as L.A. Care and Valley Health Plan which are locally accountable to their communities; and regional carriers such as SHARP Health Plan, Western Health Advantage, and Chinese Community Health Plan, which serve a growing number of people in their areas,” Lee wrote on LinkedIn.

Singleton said this is not exactly the case, but the doctor pointed to L.A. Care, which is run by Los Angeles County and competes with other plans on the state’s insurance exchange.

The state’s Medicaid program-known as Medi-Cal-has about 12 million enrollees , according to the California Department of Health Care Services.

“We don’t really have a state public option, but there are so many on HMOs and 21 covered plans,” Singleton, the Redondo Beach physician, said. “Los Angeles County has L.A. Care, which is close to a public option. It’s operated by the county and competes with private plans. It’s very easy for Newsom to say we’ve got a public option, since so many people are on Medi-Cal.”

The large presence of Medi-Cal and HMOs is not good for either doctors or patient choice, Singleton said:

There are many, many, many folks in the California Medicaid system. Medicaid payments are very low. There is a lot of bureaucracy. … The largest enrollment is in HMOs, about 60% in California. It’s about 30% in the rest of the nation. It’s restrictive for patients.

6. Big Labor’s Power

Union power is also a major problem in California because of unions’ sway over government policies, Singleton said.

“Probably the biggest problem is, unions run the state,” the physician said. “Now [Vice President] Kamala Harris is running a task force to promote more unions.”

Biden announced this week he was naming Harris, a former U.S. senator and attorney general for California, as head of the White House Task Force on Worker Organizing and Empowerment. The goal of the task force, he said, is to reverse the decline in union membership across the United States.

“The middle class built the country, and unions built the middle class,” Biden said in his speech to Congress.

7. Personnel and Policy

Harris may be the most prominent Californian in the Biden administration but is far from the only one.

The state’s last attorney general, Xavier Becerra , is now Biden’s secretary of health and human services.

Becerra was known for being an advocate of the Medicare for All plan. He also tried to force pro-life organizations to post advertisements for abortion services and prosecuted activists who investigated the practices of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is a former U.S. attorney in the Central District of California, named to that post by President Bill Clinton, a Democrat, in 1998.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., suggested the Mayorkas nomination to Clinton. He began working in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District as an assistant U.S. attorney in 1989.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen was a professor at the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley from 1985 to 2006. Yellen did a previous stint as an assistant professor there from 1980 to 1982.

Before serving as chairwoman of the U.S. Federal Reserve from 2014 to 2018, Yellen was CEO of Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco from 2004 to 2010.

Biden named Julie Su as deputy secretary of labor. Su served as secretary of California’s Labor and Workforce Development Agency since 2019 when Newsom appointed her.

During her tenure in California, Su oversaw the Employment Development Department that paid out at least $11 billion and as much as $31 billion in unemployment benefits to fraudsters-including organized crime rings from Russia, Nigeria, and China -during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The traditionally left-leaning editorial board of the Los Angeles Times noted in an editorial that Su’s nomination to serve as Biden’s deputy labor secretary “comes with heavy baggage that is sure to weigh her down during the confirmation hearings.”

During her confirmation hearing, the California newspaper added, “Senators must demand that she answer for her role in the EDD fiasco before she can be trusted to play a key role in the nation’s economic recovery.”

Thousands of Migrants Freed into U.S. Resettle in Florida, Texas

(Breitbart) – Thousands of migrants, enrolled in the now-defunct “Remain in Mexico” program, released into the United States interior are resettling in Florida, Texas, and other states, new data reveals.

After taking office in January, Biden ended the Remain in Mexico program, which had proven remarkably effective in eliminating the Catch and Release policy whereby border crossers are apprehended and subsequently released into the U.S. interior while awaiting their asylum hearings.

As of February, of the more than 71,000 asylum cases under Remain in Mexico, less than one percent of foreign nationals were found to have a legitimate asylum claim.

Biden announced in February that his Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with the help of the United Nations, would start releasing about 25,600 migrants enrolled in the program into the U.S. interior. Breitbart News exclusively reported that the migrants are being released in Brownsville and El Paso, Texas, as well as San Diego, California.

Data compiled by the Transactional Research Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University shows that nearly 4,000 Remain in Mexico cases out of close to 25,000 pending cases have been transferred out of courts along the U.S.-Mexico border to locations inside the nation’s interior.

The data shows where Remain in Mexico migrants are traveling to once they are released into the U.S. interior. More than 650 have gone to Miami, Florida, while more than 320 have ended up in Orlando, Florida, and more than 200 have resettled in Dallas, Texas.

Likewise, 135 of the cases have been transferred to San Antonio, Texas; 83 transferred to Houston, Texas; 43 transferred to Harlingen, Texas; 19 transferred to El Paso;Texas, and a handful of others transferred to Pearsall and Laredo, Texas.

Hundreds of Remain in Mexico migrants are also resettling in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego, California, while more than 140 have ended up in Arlington, Virginia.

As of early April, more than 6,400 Remain in Mexico migrants had been released into the U.S. interior who otherwise would have had to wait in Mexico until their asylum hearing in court.

Even if migrants are deemed ineligible for asylum following their hearing, they are unlikely to be deported from the U.S. thanks to Biden’s “sanctuary country” orders that ensure illegal aliens are not deported unless they have been recently convicted of an aggravated felony.

BREAKING: Top Republicans Make the Announcement… Big Tech in BIG Trouble

(BigLeaguePolitics) – After Facebook announced on Wednesday that they would uphold their ban on former president Donald Trump, more Republican leaders are calling for tech giants to be broken up .

“Trump’s posts during the Capitol riot severely violated Facebook’s rules and encouraged and legitimized violence,” Facebook’s monolithic truth commission determined in an edict .

“At the time of Mr. Trump’s posts, there was a clear, immediate risk of harm and his words of support for those involved in the riots legitimized their violent actions,” they added.

Republicans are striking back against tech giants and calling for government action to be taken to reign in these monopolies that are at war against conservative speech.

“Break them up,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) referred to Facebook’s decision as “a real life example of the tyranny of Big Tech” before reiterating Jordan’s thoughts.

“Facebook is more interested in acting like a Democrat Super PAC than a platform for free speech and open debate. If they can ban President Trump, all conservative voices could be next. A House Republican majority will rein in big tech power over our speech,” House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said on Wednesday.

Additionally, Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) called for “aggressive antitrust reform” against tech monopolies. While Republicans now pay lip service to fighting back against Big Tech, they did virtually nothing to curb their monopolistic influence when they actually had power.

Big League Politics has reported on how the Republican establishment and its oligarch donors regularly take money from tech giants while convincing their constituents they oppose them:

” As mass censorship is instituted on Big Tech monopoly platforms against conservative and right-wing voices, so-called conservatives leaders – with only a handful of exceptions – have either been silent or complicit with the undeniable Big Brother crackdown.

The reason why this is the case is because of a successful influence-peddling agenda by Google and their allies. The vehemently anti-Trump corporate giant has used their tremendous influence and wealth to purchase obedience from influential thought leaders on the Right.

A report from Bloombergquint detailed how Google has bankrolled the libertarian movement, which worships the almighty dollar above all else, in order to astroturf a phony right-wing consensus that nothing should be done to stop Big Tech tyranny.

“At the end of the day, the free-market position has always been clear: It’s not the government’s role to meddle in speech-period,” said Berin Sz ka, president of the libertarian think tank TechFreedom that is subsidized by Google.

“It should come as no surprise that Heritage supports empowering consumers rather than government to influence the private sector,” wrote Robert Bluey, vice president of communications with the Heritage Foundation, another group on Google’s dole.

“We are, and have always been, champions of free enterprise and critics of government intervention,” Bluey added.

While these free market groups pay lip service against government intervention, they have no problem with Section 230 of the Communication Decency Act (CDA), the government regulation that grants Big Tech firms special protections preventing them from being held liable for the content published on their platforms.

In fact, the Koch network is heavily lobbying on Google’s behalf to keep the special government privileges in place for the corporate behemoths. The Koch network has reportedly spent at least $10 million to promote Big Tech supremacy over the free marketplace in recent years…

The reason why conservative “leaders” are doing so little to actually protect freedom of expression is because of the money. Conservative Inc. is for sale to the highest bidder, and the Big Tech globalists and their Koch collaborators pay very well .”

Republicans need to deliver actual results rather than hollow rhetoric against Big Tech. Otherwise, they will remain little more than controlled opposition against these corporate menaces that are destroying our country.

WATCH: Fauci Makes Unbelievable Masking Statement… WOW (VIDEO)

(The Post Millennial) – When asked if forcing kids as young as 2 to wear masks outside at summer camps was excessive Fauci said it was actually “conservative.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared on the Today Show and was asked if the CDC guidelines around children’s summer camps were inline with “following the science.” The host, Savannah Guthrie points out that transmission is less likely outdoors, “the low risk of serious illness in children” and the fact that kids will be forced to wear masks while “in 90 degree heat running around” even though they are at far less risk than adults.

In response, Fauci said that “I wouldn’t call them excessive, I would say they’re conservative.” According to Guthrie, the CDC guidelines for summer camps state that “masks must be worn at all times even outdoors by everyone including vaccinated adults and children as young as 2 years-old and summer campers should stay 3-feet apart even outdoors.”

Fauci said that the CDC continues to evaluate the guidelines daily to ensure that they are current and practical. Guthrie pushes back by saying “the science doesn’t suggest those guidelines are too sensible” which gets a laugh out of Fauci. This is as the CDC released new guidelines that says vaccinated people no longer have to wear masks outdoors in some scenarios.

A infectious decease scientist who spoke to New York Magazine under the condition of anonymity said, “masking kids at camp outdoors is simply virtue signalling. Requiring kids to continuously wear masks at camps, even while outside playing in the heat, when it provides little additional protection is unfair and cruel to our children. Considering that children are at incredibly low risk for developing severe illness, the minimal benefits of mask wearing do not outweigh the substantial costs of discouraging children to be active and their overall health.”

The CDC has been criticized for its strict guidelines for children during the pandemic who seem to be at little to no risk of serious complications from COVID-19. In total, less than 200 kids have died of COVID-19 in the United States, most with co-morbidity factors.

BREAKING: Arizona BANS Critical Race Theory in Public Schools

(The Post Millennial) – The Arizona State House passed a bill Wednesday banning critical race theory indoctrination in public schools. The legislation, if approved by the Senate, would prohibit schools from promoting state-sanctioned racism and Arizona teachers could face a $5,000 penalty for teaching the ideology, if not counter balanced with an opposing perspective.

Rep. Michelle Udall R-Mesa said of the amendments to Senate Bill 1532, “We cannot allow children in our public schools to be taught that they are not created equal, that their skin color, ethnicity or sex somehow determines their character or actions. No forms of racism should enter our classrooms. Biased teaching needs to be stopped.”

Udall, who chairs the House Education Committee, introduced the amendment on Wednesday, which caused hours of debate, mostly from Democrats. The measure passed on a party-line vote.

The bill will not allow educators to teach that “one race, ethnic group or sex is inherently morally or intellectually superior to another race, ethnic group or sex.” Other provisions of the bill would ban topics that discriminate on the basis of student’s race, sex or ethnicity or feel responsible for “actions committed by other members of the same race, ethnic group or sex.”

The development of lessons that seek to address racial and social inequities has been stirring debate in various Valley school districts.

SB1532 still requires a vote in the Senate. Alternatively it could be sent to a conference committee to hash out differences with the version the House passed. Multiple states are enacting or have passed similar legislation including Idaho, Arkansas and Texas.

HAH! Coca Cola Forced to END Their Woke Campaign

(The Post Millennial) – The popular soda pop drink Coca-Cola was experiencing inner turmoil at the company amidst a “diverse attorneys” initiative. However after a key staff change, Coke is seemingly pausing the “woke” plans they had in store.

It was the brainchild of Bradley Gayton, who up until recently had served as Coke’s general counsel. He hasn’t left Coca-Cola. Now he’s serving as the CEO’s consultant and banking a $12 million salary in that role.

But Monica Howard Douglas has to fill these shoes.

Coke spokesman Scott Leith told New York Post that the person who replaced Gayton is looking over this diversity plan.

“When there is a leadership change, it takes time for the new leader to review the current status of the team, organization and initiatives. Monica is fully committed to the notions of equity and diversity in the legal profession, and we fully expect she will take the time necessary to thoughtfully review any plans going forward.”

At the beginning of the year in a public letter unveiling the diversity plan, Bradley Gayton made it clear he wants faster diversity to happen:

“We have developed score cards, held summits, established committees and written action plans. These efforts are not working. I’m reminded of this by the alarming number of new partner headshots that continue to be proudly published with an obvious lack of diversity and when I read that Black equity partners will not reach parity with the Black U.S. population until 2391.”

That’s how Bradley Gayton came up with a new company policy that at least 30 percent of billed time would come from “diverse attorneys,” and that half of that would be solely dedicated to black lawyers.

A move that led the Project on Fair Representation to voice their concerns over the legality of racial quotas. They described it as “unfair,” “polarizing,” and “illegal.”

WATCH: Tucker Carlson SLAMS CIA’s New Woke Recruiting Ad

(The Post Millennial) – Tucker Carlson ripped the CIA’s new woke recruiting advertisement on Fox News Tuesday night.

“If you’ve been on the internet this week you’ve probably seen the video we’re about to show you. If you haven’t seen it, there’s really nothing we can do to prepare you for the experience of seeing it, except to tell you two things about it. First, it’s entirely genuine this is not a hoax, it’s not a deep fake, it’s not the work of some demented comedic genius who set up a parody account on Twitter.”

Carlson added that this video was directly from the Central Intelligence Agency and not “The Culinary Institute of America, the people who teach baking and sushi preparation,” but that, “It’s the Central Intelligence Agency, the guys that do waterboarding and subvert foreign elections.”

Tucker continued that “The CIA is the most heavily armed, and supposedly the most sophisticated intelligence gathering operation on the planet, and yet somehow they produce this and put it on social media.”

The video begins with a woman saying, “I am a cisgender millenial whos beeen diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder.” She continued with “I am intersectional, but my existence is not a box checking exercise.” She insisted that, “I did not not sneak into the CIA , my employment was not and is not a fluke or a slip through the crack.”

At the age of 36, she continued, “I refuse to internalize patriarchal ideas of what a man can or should be… my effort, my brilliance, I am proud of me. Full stop.”

Tucker commented on the video, “Wait you’re intersectional? Me too! What year? Just kidding she didn’t say that,” addressing her claim of her monologue not being a box checking exercise. Carlso said, “She said I’m a woman of color, a mom, I’m a cisgender millenial who’s been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, and then told us hilariously, this spunky new CIA lady, she told us that she is intersectional.”

Carlson added, “But, and pause for laughter here, and we’re quoting, ‘My existence is not a box checking exercise.'”

“Well of course it isn’t,” he continued, “C’mon, just a cisgender Latina millenial mom of color with a certified emotional disability. Not a hint of box checking there!”

“In fact,” he added, “that sounds like pure meritocracy, if by meritocracy you mean a system in which narcissism is the highest achievement.”

Carlson made the case that, “You can imagine what job interviews must be like, tell us about yourself please don’t ever stop. So you can change a baby diaper with one hand and console a crying child with the other, plus you’re emotionally unstable? Perfect! You’re just the person we’ve been looking for to foil the next 9/11 plot!”

Quoting Brian Dean, Tucker said, “America is less safe now with the new CIA, and dangerously more political.” Tucker added that “Maybe the point of the video is to come off as a Babylon Bee version of identity politics gone wild, maybe there’s something more going on,” he concluded.

WATCH: Fed-Up Conservatives Loudly BOO Mitt Romney (VIDEO)

(InfoWars) – LIVE Search Results No Search Results Found

“Thank you! Thank you!” Romney said as he waved to the angry crowd. “So yeah, I understand I have a few folks who don’t like me terribly much, and I’m sorry about that.”

“You can boo all you like, but I’ve been a Republican all my life.”

The Utah GOP chair Derek Brown intervened shortly after, calling for the crowd to “show respect.”

After his canned speech, Romney promptly left the Maverik Center without taking questions from the media.

Romney has become one of the most reviled members of the Republican Party after voting to impeach President Trump in February, and is now facing a censure resolution by the Utah GOP.

“I think Mitt Romney has shown himself to be a big government senator,” censure cosponsor and GOP delegate Don Guymon said , adding that Romney “hurt our U.S. Constitution, our country and our party” by voting to impeach Trump.

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) is another RINO Republican who was quickly censured as a result of voting to impeach Trump.

These developments suggest that a deep political reckoning is in store for more Republicans who betray the will of their constituents.

Here Is Everything We Know About How Bill And Melinda Plan To Divide Their $150 Billion Fortune

(Zerohedge) – Many investors were surprised Tuesday morning when Microsoft shares exhibited little reaction to the news that the company’s founder, Bill Gates, and his wife of 27 years, Melinda French Gates, had agreed to divorce.

Now that the world has had some time to adjust to the reality that Bill & Melinda, one of the world’s preeminent power couples, are filing for divorce, the world’s attention is now turning to a critical question: how will they divide up a fortune that has been quoted to be as large as $150 billion, and includes an investment fund that is the biggest private owner of farmland in the US, among other dubious distinctions.

As TMZ and other scrutinized the divorce documents filed in Washington State, it was initially believed that Bill and Melinda didn’t have a prenup in place, but as one twitter user pointed out, the reality is slightly more nuanced.

TMZ went to the trouble of fetching the official divorce petition filed in King County Superior Court (which we have shared below) .

And Twitter’s David Lat offers a summary of the document and a separation agreement that was cited, but has yet to be released (h/t @DavidLat ):

To sum up, whether the Gates ever had a prenup is irrelevant since they appear to have already hammered out a separation agreement that sets out how their assets will be split and their various obligations to their children, charitable endeavors etc. According to legal sources, a separation agreement is a private contract signed by a couple when they want to spend time apart and live separately. It lists their rights and obligations, such as child support and custody. While it can be submitted to a court for approval (as the Gates appear to have done in this case) the documents are signed without the involvement of the court, and sometimes couples with separation agreements live separately without ever seeking a divorce (which makes us wonder whether Bill and Hillary have one of these ‘private contracts’ in place spelling out their obligations to each other and the ‘Clinton family’.

In the separation agreement – at least according to the few details that have been publicly released – the couple said it would remain as co-chairs and trustees of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which had net assets of $43.3 billion at the end of 2019. Last year, the foundation said it would spend $300 million on treatment, detection and vaccines to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

Rabobank ran some quick numbers and it appears that the Gates’ net wealth that will be split is larger than the GDP of 153 of the world’s 213 economies and territories.

Notably, the divorce documents list Melinda Gates as the petitioner, and Bill Gates as the respondent.

So far, the biggest divorce settlement in history was the $38 billion received by MacKenzie Scott when she split from Jeff Bezos. It’s possible – but not guaranteed – that Melinda Gates could get even more than that.

The couple have 3 adult children, Jennifer, Rory and Phoebe, and reside in their huge, earth-sheltered family mansion, dubbed Xanadu 2.0, overlooking Lake Washington in Medina, Wash. As per Forbes, Gates, who co-founded Microsoft, is fourth on the list of the world’s richest individuals with a net worth of $130.5 billion. However, the net worth of Melinda Gates, isn’t as clear. A former Microsoft employee, Melinda Gates founded Pivotal Ventures, an investment company focused on women and families in 2015, and has also authored a book. Many media sources are quoting the size of their combined fortune at around $150 billion.

According to WSJ , most of the Gates family’s wealth is held by a personal investment firm called Cascade Investment LLC. CNBC reported on Gates’ wealth and the firm Tuesday morning, while explaining that while Gates only owns 1.4% of the company, the bigger impact will be on the major holdings of Cascade. Cascade co-owns the Four Seasons hotel chain, and is also one of the largest owners of US farmland. It is no longer a marital asset so it’s not subject to division, but control could become a big issue. The fund’s returns have typically gone to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation via donations made by the Gates.

Looking ahead, observers will be looking for more clues from the separation agreement, or for any indications about a settlement that would remove the issue from court. Remember, the Gates’ have asked for a trial date in April 2022 in their divorce filing, but observers expect an out-of-court settlement will be reached before then.

Cult of Woke Takes Over CIA. Is this the wokest video of all time?

(Breitbart) – The CIA released a recruitment video in March that’s just starting to receive some much-needed attention. The video proves the CIA not only kneels in fealty before the Cult of Woke, it also proves the CIA is hiring and actively looking to recruit the most immodest, narcissistic, grotesquely self-serving people in the world – Woke Millennials.

Watch this obscenely pompous piece of garbage, and while you do, see if you can catch the one word that is not used:

The video plays like a Saturday Night Live spoof (if Saturday Night Live wasn’t itself infected with woke), but it’s not a spoof. This sits proudly on the CIA’s verified YouTube page with the hashtags #KnowYourValue and WomenInIntel.

The recruitment video features a preening, unnamed narcissist who literally struts around preaching about how awesome she is, how proud she is of herself, not because of her accomplishments, but because of something she has no control over – her identity, her race, gender, her sexuality (cisgender), and even – get this – her “generalized anxiety disorder.”

“I am unapologetically me,” she says, “and I want you to be unapologetically you.”

Yeah, I’m sure an unapologetic white, Christian, male, Trump supporter who unapologetically LOL’s at pompous woketards being true to himself would go over real well.

But did you notice the one word this disgusting CIA officer did not use…?

Not once did she use the word American .

She’s gushing with self-pride over everything about her identity, but not once does she say “I am an American.”

This is not a fluke… Check this one out, especially the jacket.

Listen, I don’t care if the CIA hires blind lesbians, I don’t care if the CIA hires Hispanic women; I’m married to one… I don’t who the CIA hires as long as that person is qualified as hell for the job…

But both of these people, especially the first one, come off as nervous neurotics, as emotionally fragile and wildly insecure. That might be okay for a receptionist’s job, but I’d prefer my CIA officers not have anxiety disorders mixed with a toxic case of narcissism and self-regard that’s right off the charts.

Confidence is good. Confidence is important. This isn’t confidence. It’s a sick form of empty self-worship.

“I’m proud of myself. Full stop,” she says.

Who talks like that? Who believes that?

Am I proud of myself? Sometimes. Sometimes I’m not so proud of myself. There’s no “full stop” in either case, but that’s because I’m a grounded, self-aware adult who knows he’s far from perfect and not an insecure peacock who believes my “identity” defines a single thing about me.

If I ran a Popsicle stand, I wouldn’t want Woketard Millennials working for me, but the CIA – the CIA!! – is openly recruiting these emotionally unstable, arrogant, empty-headed, bitterly angry, shallow monsters.

China must be thrilled.

If I were looking to turn someone it would be someone just like this, someone arrogant and insecure, someone who believes they “know their value” and who’s so insecure they ooze self-regard. From my experience, there’s a big hole in people like that and whoever fills it, wins their (temporary) loyalty.
